TinkerBell

PHOTO BOARD

TINKERBELL

These I LOVE doing, Photo boards are a specialty of mine, The face in this Tinkerbell still needs to be cut out but once that is done its all fun, The Kids stand behind the board posing as their favorite Disney character.

This brings a lot of Joy to birthdays and good memories for the mommy's and daddy's, ever pose behind one of these as a kid? I'm sure we all have!!!

Dylan's Jungle.......
For the Smartest little boy I've ever met.....
A little boy of not even two, spells his name, D  Y  L  A  N what does it spell "DYLAN!!!" he shouts with enthusiasm....
Dylan was so exited about his jungle been painted in his room he waited outside the door in anticipation ready to see the final result.
Dylan chose all his favorite animals to be put onto his wall, Once only half of them where there he was already in his cot telling us "goodnight" as he was ready to sleep in his jungle.
Its murals like this that make me so proud to be doing what i do, Children love been able to live in a fairy tale....

Dylan names each and every single one of his animals and kisses them goodnight before he sleeps.......
I painted the animals in a simplistic way to appeal to children.
The simpler the better in this case.

The blue sky was done in a light "fluffy" way...... in order to keep the room's light playful atmosphere.
The Green hill was an idea brought in by Mommy, she wanted each and every one of Dylan's animals to have their own special place on the wall.

Dylan's Elephant is almost as tall as him, maybe taller, but he will make a plan to reach up and stroke her ears.......

All the animals are somewhat proportional towards one another.
The Tortoise and Lizard been smaller then the rest.

This was a mural completed in just one day, and it was so worth every minute spent.

Modern Design

 A Modern Design:

I had researched some ideas online and found that if you are wanting a design in a room that is painted one colour, Then a modern design in white with some colour here and there does wonders, Its simplistic but bold and stands out. This is for a baby boys room and took about 4-5 Hours to complete.
once finished I was immensely satisfied and loved the finished product. This is a design I would mix up and do again, perhaps with different details and finishes. For a baby girls room, Maybe some Butterflies and Pink Birds would look great.

Painting a room for someone is a feeling no one can understand, creating something someone will wake up and look at every day and still get that great feeling every-time they see it is what makes an artist most proud. A painting is there for as long as the person wants to see it, which could end up been forever.

I hope to paint those paintings people want to see forever!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

An Entire Scene Created in one room,
Snow White and the seven Dwarves, this room is enchanted with the feeling of been in the actual Movie with the characters, you feel like you are living in a fairytale the second you step into the room, Its the perfect scene for a kiddies play room to play pretend.
It took about a month to finish but that was only painting every now and then, The wall with the dwarves I concentrated on in two solid days and completed it. The rest I took my time with. All in all if I had to work on this room every day, it would be able to be completed within a week of starting it.

The Picture I have of Snow white and the prince was not completely finished on the time the photo was taken as the prince's face still needs to be painted here. on the opposite wall of the prince and snow white, there is the house the dwarves live in, painted in a realistic size for my little girl to play in.

Wedding Decor

Above is a Table name card i created, all the tables had names instead of numbers, Eg: Droom; Hoop; Liefde etc.
To your right is the invitations my mother and i designed and created, These types of things take more time and effort, i finish them off to perfection and enjoy every moment.

Mercedes' Dedication

Mercedes' Dedication was a wonderful time, I got to make all sorts of little special things for the occasion. We had a tea party under a great big whit tent.
We made the little pots to hold different types of tea bags, we made the Photos and put them on each table with little white stands, this tea party had a sweets table filled with Luxuries, Sweet jars made to stand out, with fairy dust and magic this dedication all came together looking as fantastic as a fantasy land we all wish to go to some days. It was beautiful.

Matric Shirts 2009

TOP LEFT: My Matric Shirt I wanted a Tinkerbelle that showed a side of my personality and style.

TOP RIGHT: A Drawing of Mojo Jojo that I completed and coloured in.

Below are the rest of the Cartoons I have drawn onto matric shirts, of which some of them I did not do the shading for. I had done all the drawings and outlines for the students where they had shaded the pictures themselves, I did however help with Mojo Jojo's colours.
